Palazzo Gavotti in the historic center, the Fortezza del Priamar with its museums overlooking the sea, Palazzo Monte di Pietà with its extraordinary ceramics collection—three different locations, centuries of history, collections spanning archaeology, art, sculpture, local history, and even technology.

Until now, each museum required a separate ticket. Starting August 1st, a single ticket for the Civic Museums will be available, allowing access to the Civic Art Gallery, the Archaeological Museum, the Mazzini Cell, and the Sandro Pertini and Renata Cuneo Museum with a single ticket valid for one week at a cost of €15.00.

What does the MUSA cumulative ticket include?

The Civic Art Gallery — Palazzo Gavotti, historic center

In the heart of the historic center, Palazzo Gavotti houses the Pinacoteca Civica—one of the most elegant exhibition spaces in Liguria. The collections span five centuries of painting: from the masters of the Ligurian Renaissance to the 20th-century avant-garde, including works commissioned by the powerful della Rovere family. The extraordinary Milena Milani and Carlo Cardazzo Collection also features works by Fontana, Jorn, and other leading figures in post-World War II international art.

The Civic Archaeological and City Museum — Priamar Fortress

At the Priamar Fortress, the Archaeological Museum recounts Savona from its pre-Roman origins to the Middle Ages through artifacts, reconstructions, and themed tours. It is here that Christopher Columbus's handwritten signature is found, as are relics of the medieval settlement demolished by the Genoese in 1542 to build the fortress.

Mazzini's Cell — Priamar Fortress

Also at Priamar, Mazzini's Cell preserves the memory of the period in which Giuseppe Mazzini was held in the fortress—a place of Risorgimento history that fits into the visitor itinerary with the silent strength of an authentic, unreconstructed space.

The Sandro Pertini and Renata Cuneo Museum — Priamar Fortress

The fourth museum included in the cumulative ticket celebrates two illustrious Savonese: Sandro Pertini , partisan president and symbol of the Italian Republic, and Renata Cuneo , an internationally renowned sculptor who donated to the city over fifty works in bronze, terracotta and ceramic — today exhibited in the Bastione di San Bernardo
