The concert follows the release of the album “Where Daffodils have their fun” , recorded in New York and released in November 2025 by Abeat Records, which marks a fundamental stage in Maria Nives Riggio's musical journey.

Nives performs well-known jazz standards with the support of the recording group, with the exception of the double bass player due to scheduling conflicts. Guided by a vocal style based on essential melodic lines, the varied timbre of her voice is complemented and enhanced by the harmony and swing rhythm of the extraordinary musicians accompanying her. It's easy, fluid, enjoyable, and never boring to listen to.
The American, New York sound is a precise stylistic choice by Maria Nives.

The music is accessible to everyone, enjoyable but not ordinary. Pianist Richard Clements represents the most refined and profound style of classic jazz.
Double bassist Luca Pisani, who replaces Ari Roland in the Italian live performance, is a rigorous point of reference for time and rhythm, leading the quartet with poetics and powerful timbre.
Drummer Massimo Russino knows how to create essential rhythmic interweavings that tie together the band's overall sound, interpreting each song in a personal and distinct way.
