THEATRE ON THE LAWN (BRING A TOWEL
AND SIT ON THE LAWN)
(Kids' Review by Cattivi Maestri)

Bastione San Paolo at 7 pm

Friday, July 24, 7:00 PM
PINOCCHIO, A SOUND FAIRY TALE
Based on Carlo Collodi's masterpiece, a show for children of all ages. The multifaceted talent of Andrea Benfante, also an excellent sound designer, brings the central characters of the most beloved fairy tale of all time to the stage. Giorgio Panni's sets, evocative of the circus atmosphere, will bring to life the Land of Toys, the Field of Miracles, the puppet theater, and other settings from Collodi's tale. Andrea Benfante is an actor and musician, a graduate of the Scuola del Teatro Stabile di Genova.

Friday, July 31, 7:00 PM
LOVE OF SALT
A cook prepares a special soup. The kitchen assistants are children themselves, who use their imaginations to taste, add ingredients, and discover that what gives the soup its flavor is precisely... salt! A show for actresses and performers, with incidental music drawn from the most famous areas of opera, in which objects and kitchen utensils become characters in a story inspired by one of Italo Calvino's Italian Fairy Tales, about Princess Zizola, who is banished by the King because she loves him "like salt."

Friday, August 7, 7:00 PM
IRONHEART AND THE FROG PRINCE
Gio and Erri are two storytellers searching for a linden tree around which to tell the story of a frog who wakes up near a pond, without knowing who he is. A special frog who can talk, play chess, and longs to be with ANGELA, a somewhat spoiled and fussy princess. But why? Not far from there hides a monstrous man with three iron rings around his heart. But who is he? With original songs and live noises, the actresses perform the famous fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm to tell children a story that helps them grow up and become adults.
