Events in Savona this weekend from August 14th to 16th

The Ferragosto weekend is here: a weekend packed with cultural and musical events and activities for the whole family!

For those who want to discover the city, culture doesn’t take a holiday on Ferragosto: Savona’s museums and cultural attractions will be open with their standard opening hours, from the Civic Art Gallery to the Ceramics Museum, from the Pertini Museum to the Archaeological Museum, as well as the Sistine Chapel, the Cathedral and the All About Apple Museum.

Friday, 14 August
9.00 pm – Priamàr Fortress – Guided Tour
Organised by the Civic Archaeological Museum, a guided tour to discover the underground galleries of Priamàr Fortress.

9.30 pm – Seafront and Prolungamento – Luminous Butterflies Parade Show
Organised by the local beach establishments, a spectacular roaming show bringing light, magic and poetry along the various beaches of the coast.

Saturday, 15 August
10.00 pm – Scaletto dei Pescatori, Fornaci – Savona’s Great Ferragosto Celebration
Organised by the Municipality of Savona, Ente Fiera di Confcommercio and SIB, with the support of the Savona Territorial Office of the Port System Authority, an evening of music and entertainment hosted by Luca Galtieri, featuring DJ Enzo, Rudy Mas and karaoke with Giacomo Aicardi. Also taking the stage will be Fabiana Parlato and Katia Picasso (“Quelle di un certo peso”) and Marco Anelli, for a night of singing and dancing.

Sunday, 16 August
9.30 pm – Priamàr Fortress – Cinema in the Fortress
Organised by the Cultural Association “NUOVOFILMSTUDIO”, screening of Le cose non dette by Gabriele Muccino. The ticket office and outdoor cinema area open at 8.30 pm. Find information and tickets here.
