Events in Savona this weekend from September 11th to 13th

A weekend packed with cultural and musical events and activities for the whole family!

Friday 11 September

From 8.15 pm-Corso Mazzini car park below the walls of the Priamar Fortress- Underground Priamar
Organised by the Savona Speleological Group, a guided tour of the underground passages of the Priamar Fortress. Participants are required to wear sports shoes and bring a flashlight. 3 tour times:

Saturday 12 September

8.30 am– Torre del Brandale- Urban Trekking
Organised by CAI, urban trekking “Along the Saonensis Road”: route along the strata Saonensis, the old Roman road that from Savona reaches Via Ranco and then, after a fork, descends towards Albissola Marina. Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes

From 9.00 am-Corso Italia and Piazza Sisto IV- Fashion and Motors
Organised by Grafica Indaco, the seventh edition of the event: car exhibitions and sales, test drives, fashion and design, talks and podcasts.

3.30 pm-Priamar Fortress-Workshop “Let’s Make and Decorate Paper”
Organised by the Civic Archaeological Museum, a workshop for children “Let’s Make and Decorate Paper”

7.00 pm– Giardini Baden Powell- I pomeriggi della Mozart
Organised by Associazione Mozart Savona APS, the concert “NOSTOS: original pieces and melodies from distant lands”. On saxophone: Massimo Valentini. On Celtic harp: Marta Celli. Works by Giacomo Lusso. The evening will also feature the opening of the “Agrosfera” Photography Exhibition at 5.30 pm at Giardini Baden Powell. Exhibition open until 20 September during the garden’s opening hours

9.00 pm– Church of Sant’Andrea -Piano Recital by Marco Ottaviani
Organised by Ensemble Nuove Musiche, piano recital by Marco Ottaviani. Music by L. van Beethoven, F. Liszt, R. Schumann
