This is the final event in the "800, Savona tells the story of Saint Francis" series, which has involved many local cultural institutions in a program designed to celebrate the eighth centenary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi.
ROUTE INFORMATION
Starting from the portico and the monumental staircase leading to the art gallery, where valuable bas-reliefs from Franciscan religious contexts have been placed, you will access the rooms containing majestic Renaissance polyptychs, characterized by iconographic themes dear to the Franciscans, and testimony to the exceptional artistic flowering of Savona between the 15th and 16th centuries thanks to the patronage of the Della Rovere family.
