What is Fitwalking?
Fitwalking is a form of walking that highlights its full potential. The English term literally means "walking for physical fitness"; it is the common denominator for all physical and sporting activities, for leisure and relaxation, for fun, for fitness, for health, and for well-being. There are many good reasons to practice fitwalking, and you can find motivations and incentives to engage everyone in the practice. First and foremost, however, fitwalking is designed to be an activity accessible to everyone. Approaching the fitwalking technique therefore means making your walking effective enough to move at a high speed while maintaining natural movements.
