MEETING POINT AT SANCTUARY SQUARE

The route starts from the Sanctuary square.
We continue uphill towards the Santuario railway station, near which, on the left, we enter the "Città dei Papi" path.
Through the "Scogli bianchi" area, along a path with more or less steep sections, you will reach the "Campi della Palaiella" equipped area and continue towards the farmhouse of the same name, with a wide panoramic space towards Savona and Vado Ligure.
We continue along a paved road to the General Rampon memorial: here we find ourselves on the slopes of Mount Nengino, where traces of Napoleon's positions during the battle of April 1796 are preserved.
A little further on, in the Palai area, you will come across a votive pillar.
Return to the Sanctuary via the paved Via Monte Prato, which offers a wide panoramic view.
